Grow Asia is excited to announce the incoming Co-Chairs for the Business Council. For 2023/24, the Grow Asia Business Council will be co-chaired by Corteva Agriscience and East-West Seed.
Grow Asia is a multistakeholder platform dedicated to building a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food system in Asia. To achieve this goal, the organization has established two high-level advisory councils - the Partners' Advisory Council and the Business Council. These councils play a vital role in guiding Grow Asia's efforts and ensuring that its initiatives align with the diverse perspectives and priorities of its stakeholders.
The Business Council is comprised of members from the private sector who guide Grow Asia in developing robust and market-driven approaches. The council members lead by example by investing in on-the-ground projects through Grow Asia's Multi-Donor Impact Funds and demonstrating the viability of sustainable and inclusive business models. By bringing together large and small businesses engaged in the production, distribution, or sale of agriculture, food, or forestry products, the Business Council helps to create a positive impact on the entire food system.
Grow Asia is proud to be a regional delivery partner of the World Economic Forum's Food Action Alliance and is pleased to have the guidance and support of so many leading experts as it works to build a more sustainable future for the region. We would like to extend our gratitude to the outgoing Business Council Co-Chairs, Bayer Crop Science and Charoen Pokphand Produce, for their foundational efforts in driving forward an impactful agenda.
